Adam is an Insolvency Practitioner licensed to carry on work in the UK by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He is bound by the Insolvency Code of Ethics.

Adam started his insolvency career in 2008 when he joined an insolvency boutique in Hampshire. After nearly five years and having worked his way up from trainee administrator to senior administrator he decided to leave and join a newly formed firm in 2013, as a senior administrator. The firm became the fastest growing, independent Restructuring and Insolvency practice in the UK with Adam ultimately being promoted to Senior Manager within 6 years. Adam undertook and passed CPI in 2010 and JIEB at the November 2018 sitting. As a licensed insolvency practitioner Adam has gained a significant amount of experience which he will continue to put to good use in his role as an appointment taker at CMB.

Adam had previously specialised in corporate insolvency and had worked on a wide range of different cases ranging from large trading administrations to smaller liquidations. During that time he also developed a detailed knowledge of offshore insolvency processes and complex contentious matters. Alongside corporate matters Adam maintains a healthy interest in personal insolvency matters and has often been called in to advise insolvent individuals or unpaid creditors on their options.

Adam enjoys the challenge of problem solving and provides a supportive and collaborative approach to dealing with directors, individuals and referrers.

Career highlights include the administration and pre-packaged sale of a large serviced apartment provider, the solvent liquidation of a complex entity; involving the distribution, in specie, of property and shareholdings, the successful payment of all creditors in full (plus statutory interest) from an insolvent liquidation and the unwinding of a substantial tax fraud relating to a compulsory liquidation.

In his spare time he enjoys travelling around the countryside and continuing to build his already over large movie collection!
