Hayley started her insolvency career in 2010 when she joined CMB. After five years of working her way up from a junior administrator to a manager, she decided to join a top 20 firm to expand her insolvency knowledge and experience further. After nearly two years, she returned to CMB as she enjoyed the work-culture and “it just felt like home”.
She specialises in corporate insolvency and has worked on a wide range of different cases ranging from large administrations to smaller liquidations. She also has experience of personal insolvency assignments.
Hayley particularly enjoys helping both creditors and employees alike as she understands how confusing the insolvency process can sometimes be and relishes demystifying it for the benefit of others.
One of the most interesting jobs she has had the pleasure of dealing with was an Administration of a private school that was also a registered charity. It gave her an insight into the financial aspects of how a charity and school is governed and was a ideal opportunity to illustrate her compassionate side when dealing with creditor and employee queries.
In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with friends and mountain climbing. She has even completed the Three Peak Challenge which she found to be an incredibly demanding but also rewarding experience.
